Brandy began serving in youth ministries at the First Pentecostal Church of God in Springfield, OH in 1999, at the age of 17, leading middle school students. She eventually took over the high school class, as well. She lead youth group there until joining the launch team for CenterPoint Westerville in 2011. At that time, she began a youth ministry combining both Lewis Center and Westerville campuses, until 2012, when she developed STAND, exclusively for CenterPoint Westerville. She believes in building personal, lasting relationships with each teen in order to build trust and give direction and council.
Brandy began singing in church at the age of 16, serving on the worship team under her mother’s direction at the First Pentecostal Church of God. She joined the worship team at CenterPoint Westerville upon its launch. She learned to play bass and occasionally would lead services until taking over the direction of the program in 2013. She feels strongly about the purpose of worship as a time to give back to the Lord the praise He deserves.
Brandy has been married to her husband Roo (Andrew) since 2007, and they have two boys together: Lincoln and Reid.
